Youth Sports
City of Pomona Community Services offers various sports programs, clinics, practices and recreational games in a team building and sportsmanship
environment for children ages 4-17.
All programs we offer will take place at Pomona parks.
Current Youth Sports programs we offer:
Pomona skateboarding After School Pomona After School Skate program will be offered at for youth ages 12 to 17. Program includes homework assistance, presentations, enrichment opportunities and skate instruction. Skateboards and safety equipment can be provided by City of Pomona.

Little Kickers soccer program is FREE and available to all youth ages 4 to 7. Program will provide youth with an introduction to the game of soccer. Participants will learn fundamental skills of soccer, teamwork and sportsmanship. Activities will take place at various parks the grass field. Program will accept registrations until capacity is met or until registration deadline.

Mini Sports Camp is FREE and available to all youth ages 4 to 7. Activities include introduction to sports, recreation based games and team building. Youth will have the opportunity to be active, learn new skills, make friends and have fun!

Pickleball is FREE and available to all youth ages 7 to 17. This session is perfect for those interesting in learning a new and upcoming sport. Activities include drills, games, team building, and so much more! Program will accept registrations until capacity is met. Program takes place very 2nd and 4th Saturday until the end of the year.

The Youth Soccer program is FREE and available to all youth ages 8 to 13. Participants will learn the fundamental skills of soccer, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The program will include practices and games. All activities will take place at Philadelphia Park on the grass field. The program will accept registrations until capacity is met.

The tennis program is FREE and available to all youth ages 7 to 17. Participants will learn the fundamental skills of tennis, teamwork and sportsmanship. The tennis program will offer instruction in a group setting. The City of Pomona will provide tennis rackets if required. All activities will take place at Washington Park on the tennis courts.

Track and Field Camp is FREE and available to all youth ages 7 to 17. This camp is an introduction to track and field. Activities include drills, events, team building, and so much more! Program will accept registrations until capacity is met or until registration deadline. Program main session is on Fridays with occasional sessions on Saturdays- more information on Saturday Events will be given at practice.

City of Pomona Community Services is offering hikes for girls and boys ages 7 to 17. Program will provide youth with the opportunity to get active in local nature based settings. Registrations will be accepted until capacity is met. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring snacks and water. Closed toed shoe are required, athletic type shoe is recommended. Program will meet at Philadelphia Park, transportation from Philadelphia Park to the local trail will be included. *In the event of rain, all activities will be canceled.
