Pomona Civic Center Plaza Hosts Free Summer Concert Series  

Pomona, California, May 25, 2023: The City is proud to announce that this summer, Pomona is hosting a five-concert series and will kick-off with a music festival on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza. The event will present Daydream Time Machine, Selenamos, Jordi, and Pomona’s very own Alejandro Aranda, the runner-up in the 17^th season of American Idol. There will be a surprise performer that will be announced on June 1, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets, and enjoy an afternoon of beautiful weather, family-friendly activities, and food trucks.  

Live concerts are scheduled on Friday evenings on June 30^th, July 28^th, August 25^th, and September 29^th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza. The Mayor and City Council allocated funding to expand free community concerts over the next four years and are excited to bring back free summer concerts.
