About the Pomona Holiday Parade 
The Pomona Holiday Parade, organized by the Downtown Pomona Owners Association Holiday Parade Committee, will take place on December 9th at 6:00 pm. This year's parade theme is "Homerun Holidays," celebrating the joy and excitement of the holiday season. The Parade Grand Marshal for this year's event will be baseball player Vince Velasquez from the Phillies Baseball team he is from Pomona, CA. and best known for this professional baseball career and dedication to his community. 

Vince Velasquez, a renowned pitcher for the Phillies, will lead the parade through Downtown Pomona. The route will take the procession west on historic 2nd Street, concluding at Mission and Garey Ave. Following the parade, there will be a FREE family community event, the Annual Holiday at the Plaza, which will be hosted at Shaun Diamond Plaza.
