About the program
The California State Library provides free online tutoring for California K-12 students, available through public libraries. Through HelpNow, live real-time homework assistance is available 24 hours a day by laptop, tablet, or phone from qualified tutors using state curriculum and standards.
24/7 assistance is available in English and Spanish for Language Arts and Mathematics.

CalMatters for Learning
CalMatters for Learning is a free learning hub for library staff, educators and community organizers, created in partnership with the California State Library. Every first day of the month, a new themed teaching resource is posted, offering unique, nonpartisan tools to guide conversations about issues affecting California communities.
Find materials for the following audiences: Homeschooling and high school students, adult literacy learners, new citizens and voters, Spanish-speaking families, new California residents, job seekers, civically engaged patrons.

Online content from Encyclopedia Britannica, ProQuest research databases, and Book Connections are available — at school, at home, in libraries, on laptops, on phones — to all.
These three databases are provided for all California students from the California State Library.

A comprehensive interactive resource for research and learning for grades K-12. Includes correlations to California Content Standards and other valuable teacher resources. Post links directly to each school level, elementary, middle or high.
